Welcome to my home page, and thank you for stopping by.  I appreciate being able to share my writing with you, and, for those so inclined, some of my general interests.

I started writing before I was in junior high, and continued for several years.  Life has a way of intervening, however, and writing got set aside.   Over the years I had wonderful opportunities to get involved in various pursuits, among them breeding and racing horses, owning and operating a restaurant,  driving a school bus, and raising children.

I was never much interested in genealogy until I had children.  I then descended into what I soon discovered was a bottomless pit of research.  In that pit, however, I discovered a new interest in history, primarily the European Middle Ages.  In the process of working on writing family histories, I rediscovered an old interest:  writing.  My largest writing project to date blends those two interests.
